Thanks To @latexluke
It’s funny, I feel like I hadn’t really felt utter and complete immersion in rubber until I tried an inflatable piece of kit. Sure, I’ve tried vacbeds, drysuits, and sleep sacks, but there’s something powerful that puts inflatable latex in a league of its own. I fondly recall the day my own inflatable suit arrived and with it a massive fetish-fuelled dream was fulfilled.
I remember being surprised by the weight of it. When I picked it up by the shoulders, the limbs just sort of unfurled on their own, and at that point it was hard to even picture what it would look like once fully inflated. Deflated, it didn’t resemble a suit so much as this loose, oversized bundle of rubber. The material had this constant, booming rumble too, different to standard suits. Layers of latex brushing against each other; it made such a distinct sound. I knew I couldn’t hold back any longer, I needed to be encased fully in it. Once sealed inside the warm, lubricated walls I was in fetish heaven. It felt extremely baggy like I was wearing a massive rubber bin bag!
Once the pump was switched on, the suit began to inflate. What started as a loose, shifting material starts to firm up, gently pressing against me. As more air fills the space between the layers the pressure gradually builds. Gazing into a mirror I can see the outer body forming a distinct shape. A very specific moment occurs and the inner layer of rubber squeezes my body like a vice. There’s a specific feeling of tension as the latex smooths out and holds its strange shape. I become extremely aware of this airtight environment pulling my limbs in opposite directions.
Imagine the level of pressure you can get in the two-layered cavity of a heavy inflatable suit. Your body feeling such an intense restriction everywhere as the outer layer grows bigger and bigger. It transforms you into something so beyond human proportions.
An account which influenced my journey to explore the world of inflatable rubber was, in fact, @latexluke and his phenomenal inflatable collection. I’ve been a long time admirer of his breathtaking array of heavy, inflatable rubber items. I could tell that beneath the air-packed layers of rubber was a truly dedicated fetishist. He holds a great sense of pride in what he does but there’s also a very wholesome humour to him too.
I’m very thrilled to sit down and speak with the one and only, @latexluke!

As a fan myself, I’m always obsessed with how much I can transform my natural body when it’s in an inflatable suit. So, I wanted to start off with a general question. What is it that excites you about inflatable latex?
I guess firstly it’s Latex, the underlying draw we all have, the shine, the smell, the feel, the restrictions, but the inflatable side brings all of that on steroids. The ability to increase the pressure and then the additional restrictions create a new level, something I find both most relaxing and exciting at the same time which does create an interesting paradox sometimes.
The other side of it probably not talked about much is that normal latex has a look that is very dependent on your body shape, and as we all know it can be very hard to keep trim with normal life and family challenges, the inflatable suits remove that self-conscious body image dilemma as by virtue of the design of the suits they are there to change the body shape and make a new otherworldly look.
One side of the inflatable Latex that I do find interesting is that I find that they are my escape from the world, they are my mental safe place where I can heal and de-stress. Spending many hours totally enclosed and inflated relaxes me, lets my mind drift off and I feel like a new person afterwards. I don’t know if it’s the darkness, the pressure and restrictions, the warmth, or all of it put together, what I do know is that if I have not been in it for a few weeks, I suffer and so do the people around me.
That’s super interesting. I know what you mean about fully enclosed latex being a place for healing and detox from the outside world. I’m curious, how would you describe that full-body inflatable experience to someone who has never tried it?
Definitely try it if you get the opportunity, it’s fun, exciting and something you need to experience. In simple terms it’s like getting an all over body hug at once. To understand how that works, you have to realise these suits are double-skinned. The air gets trapped directly between the two layers, so as it inflates, the outer skin pushes outward, while the inner skin pushes tightly inward against your body.
Hearing the low hum of the pump, feeling the rubber gradually shift, and then that exact moment when that inward pressure builds and the restriction firmly locks you in place—it’s an absolute rush.
Do you ever feel nervous about your inflatable suits popping or exploding? How durable would you say they are?
Oh Yes, and it’s happened many times, and will happen many times in the future. Most of the time the issues are self-inflicted, like with everything you have to have more to get the same feelings after time, I guess like anything, extreme sports and the like, bigger jumps, faster speeds, I need thicker latex and more pressure. Which then leads to pushing the limits of the suits. Eventually you find the weak point, normally a seam that decides it will unglue itself, or a fatigue hole around the arms. It can certainly end a relaxing session with a bang.
I tend to, no, nearly all my inflatables are 1mm thick on the outer skins, and 0.6mm on the inner skin. This helps with durability and managing the intense pressure of that trapped air. I have also added reinforced bands to the suits, one to create an interesting shape but most of all increase the pressure some more, which means when they do have an issue it’s quite spectacular.

I like how you describe setting yourself the challenge to feel greater pressure each time in inflatable suits. I know from experience that they really restrict your movement. Have you ever gotten trapped or stuck before?
Yes, sometimes on purpose and sometimes not. Again, this tends to come from pushing the boundaries to get the same or bigger high. We have had Zippers get stuck and had to cut the zip to get out. I have dropped keys that I then cannot reach the floor to pick up again. Getting in and out of an armless inflatable suit has had its interesting times, overinflating the suit so I cannot move my arm, getting cramp, and getting too hot that I cannot manoeuvre the keys, and then falling over (which hurts) but almost impossible to get back up again.
I have recently taken becoming trapped in a suit to a whole new level, one that has not really been seen in my content yet. It is a suit I can get in, locked in, inflated and there is literally no way to get out without help. When I realise I’m truly stuck, there’s a split second of panic, but that quickly melts into the ultimate, forced relaxation because I have absolutely no choice but to surrender to the rubber.
I’m absolutely speechless. That sounds like such an intense fantasy made into a reality! It’s so enthralling and feeling so trapped with no escape I bet it’s such a rush. I want to know what is your idea of a ‘perfect’ session in heavy rubber?
This has changed in the last few years, as the limits have changed, the technology has improved and the availability of gear has increased. The new ultimate for me at this point in time, is to be fully inflated in a suit I cannot get out of, with limited sensory input, restricted movement, the end time dictated to by someone else.
It is really about that complete reliance on something or someone else. I want to be left entirely isolated, completely devoid of control, with absolutely no way out while the machines dictate everything. Whilst in this situation my breathing would be being controlled by a machine, there would be some Estim and a milking machine that would torment me for however long was chosen. The ultimate goal would be having those machines take me right to the edge, hold me there, bring me back down, and then repeat that cycle multiple times without me having any say in the matter.
I am getting closer to this, I just need the milking machine and I might be able to see if I have found the perfect session.
Everything fully automated and controlled. Kept floating on the edge in total isolation sounds so erotic. Surely it requires a lot of stamina. How long is the maximum you’ve been able to stay head-to-toe in an inflatable suit for?
This is so dependent on the ambient and what’s going on, the record is about 7 hours, but this was only achieved as it was forced due to a time safe for the keys. The target generally is to try and hit 8 hours comfortably, I need to train more for this, as I have another goal of conditioning myself to be only able to sleep whilst fully enclosed and inflated. The average time right now is 3-4 hours.
To train for that 8-hour sleeping goal, I’m trying to align my sessions with my natural sleep cycles so my body learns to associate the intense pressure with drifting off. However, the biggest hurdle right now is my breathing. I really struggle with relaxing my breathing enough so that my body just does it naturally while under that much physical restriction. Because it remains a conscious effort, it tends to stop me from fully drifting off to sleep. I need to keep working on this and trying different breathing techniques to finally achieve that goal.

Training yourself to that level must be extremely tough. I’m extremely impressed by your dedication to your obsession. Where do you think these fetishes all began for you?
I am not entirely sure, I would suggest it was probably one trip to Cocoon in Birmingham when they had a shop, seeing all the gear they had and seeing the inflatables. I bought an inflatable hood on that first visit, and then quickly followed it with an order for a PS2.
That was really where the addiction began and started to control me. I ended up spending most of my student loan on latex, just buying more and more items to feed the obsession. Never looked back.
I feel many people have a similar story, feeding the obsession as soon as it’s discovered. I’ve noticed a lot of your shots are taken outdoors. Do you feel excited about wearing rubber in public and what goes through your head when you venture outside?
Most of the time the feeling is of apprehension and being a bit scared, what if, but then as soon as you step over the threshold and you are outside, the Latex is my armour and I feel invincible. It’s another one of those feelings that’s very hard to describe, you have to experience to understand, but it’s one that always makes you feel good and want it more often.
I would absolutely love to wear it out more than I do, but I am always restricted by location. My primary concern has to be protecting my family and keeping this side of my life separate, so that completely dictates where and when I can actually venture out safely.
Still, whenever I do get the chance, I have never had a bad experience. You get a few comedy comments like it’s Batman or something, but the best was getting invited to someone’s wedding when we returned from an event and there was a reception taking place in the hotel. We politely declined, but just the sheer surrealness of standing there in heavy rubber being offered a drink by a wedding party is a memory I’ll always cherish.
No way! That’s actually really wholesome and such a precious memory to have. Another question I wanted to ask; I imagine a lot of your designs have been custom-made. Can I ask where the inspiration came from for some of them? Did you design them yourself?
Yes, most things are custom made, or a modification of an existing design to suit my changing levels needs. Most items have been created from a sketch I have made and then some discussions with the manufacturer to mature it into something that can be made.
Generally my greatest inspiration and most productive time comes when I am sitting in a management meeting at work, become bored of the discussions and start to doodle. Although I think Marco, owner of MML_Original will have more nightmares if I come up with something new as a challenge for him to make for me.
Haha well I can imagine Marco won’t be happy with the next question but do you have any dream latex outfits that you’d one day love to own?
This changes and increases daily, there are many things I want, if only there was an unlimited pot of money. I would like to combine inflation with deflation at some point. I love the idea of being in my ultimate suit but then inside a Vac Sarcophagus being suspended within more layers of latex, I think this would create the ultimate sensation of pressure and restriction.
I just need the time, money and space to design and make the steel Vac frame that would be needed and get a bit better at gluing to create the rest. I think this would be a place I would not want to leave. It’s an interesting contradiction, really—taking the expansive, buoyant safe space of an inflatable suit and crushing it down with the absolute confinement of a vacuum bed. But for me, combining those two extremes would be absolute perfection.
A vac sarcophagus!!? That sounds incredible, wow. The fusion of the two worlds of inflatable and vacuum-packed is really fascinating. I’ve recently tried a vac bed with an inflatable mattress and it was pure ecstasy. By the sounds of it you want to take it one step further and I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see how you execute it!
It’s been an utter pleasure to hear in such detail all about your marvellous world of inflatable rubber. I’ll continue to diligently watch for your updates and want to extend a massive thank you for speaking so openly. Again, it’s been a huge delight hearing from you.
